Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience License: RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: 2+ years of experience working with stroke patients Willingness to take Telemetry patients as needed Willingness to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered Willingness to take mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered Willingness to take Basic EKG and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered COVID vaccinated (declinations not accepted) No scheduling restrictions; must be willing to work the facility's schedule Previous travel experience Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. Specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills are necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
