TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37404!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills Medical-Surgical experience including experience with various respiratory diseases, renal diseases, GI illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, heparin infusions, etc. Description: This is a 30-bed medical-surgical unit. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. The unit is staffed with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and case management. Common equipment includes walkers, IV pumps, and SCDs. The documentation system used is Meditech. There is a requirement for 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule and participation in the holiday rotation. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Patient experience goals require maintaining a 72% satisfaction rating by utilizing communication boards. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs. Teamwork and collaboration are essential to the unit's success. Successful candidates will be part of a supportive and experienced team.
