Qualifications Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor of Nursing or Associate of Nursing Degree preferred. Licensure: Registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. Valid BLS certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
