Ultrasound Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures including general abdominal, OB, small parts, kidney, and vascular scans. The technologist will work closely with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations and procedures on patients.
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and supplies.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret ultrasound results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Active BLS certification.
• ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required.
• Previous experience with PACS and portable ultrasound units.
• Ability to work on-call shifts as needed.
