Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Rehab

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with experience and competency in working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals experiencing debility or balance issues. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Assist in the rehabilitation of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries.
• Provide interventions aimed at improving balance and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary support team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document progress in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred.
• No specific certifications required.
• Must have a valid state PTA license or a compact license.
• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred.
