Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 17 Number of Staff – 21 Type of staff: Day Shift – 4 CNCs, 7 RNs, and 2 PRN RNs Night Shift - 2 CNCs, 6 RNs, and 1 PRN RN Patient Ratios – 1:1 to 3:1 Type of equipment - Phillips monitors, Giraffe isolettes, Hamilton ventilators, RAM cannula, Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion syringe pumps EMR – Meditech, CPN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum of 1-year current acute care Level 111 NICU hospital experience

BLS, NRP

Preferred or nice to have candidates with these skills will be considered first. We work very closely with theNeonatologists, Nurse Practitioners,and the multidisciplinary team; the nursing staff is expected to have strong critical thinking skills and to be autonomous as well as be a strong advocate for their patients andassist in creating the daily plan of care.
