Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system is a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures that residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital includes 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter - Human Resources (Full Time) The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment activities for clinical, nursing, allied health, professional, and non-clinical positions across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and Human Resources leadership to identify staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, source qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the hiring and onboarding process. The Healthcare Recruiter serves as a strategic talent acquisition partner while providing candidates with a professional, timely, and positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, nursing, allied health, and non-clinical positions from sourcing through offer acceptance. Partner with hiring leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles. Source, screen, and assess qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, career fairs, and direct outreach. Coordinate interviews, extend employment offers, and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Plan and participate in hiring events, career fairs, and community outreach initiatives to build strong candidate pipelines. Maintain accurate recruitment activity in the ATS and monitor hiring progress, vacancies, and key recruitment metrics. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field required. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Minimum 3 of years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or Human Resources experience required. Healthcare or hospital recruitment experience strongly required. Experience recruiting allied health professionals and other clinical positions preferred. Experience managing high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions is highly desirable. Professional certifications such as RACR (Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter), SHRM-CP, PHR, or other Human Resources/Talent Acquisition credentials are preferred but not required.
