Now Hiring: Part-Time Recruiting Assistant Location: Commerce Township, MI (Richardson & Martin area) Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, approximately 10–15 hours per week, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM Pay: $17/hour | Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit Are you organized, dependable, and comfortable talking with people on the phone? We’re looking for a Part-Time Recruiting Assistant to help support our recruiting team and keep our daily hiring process organized and moving forward. This is a phone- and computer-based position. Most of your day will be spent reviewing applications, making outgoing calls, conducting initial phone interviews, updating candidate information, and communicating with applicants. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys a structured workday, is comfortable with routine tasks, pays close attention to detail, and can stay focused while managing multiple candidates and responsibilities. What You’ll Do Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to job applicants Conduct initial phone interviews and applicant screenings Review applications and resumes to identify potential candidates Follow up with applicants regarding next steps in the hiring process Work closely with the Lead Recruiter and Hiring Manager to help fill open positions Update and maintain applicant information in our applicant tracking system Keep candidate records, documents, and digital files organized Assist with creating and updating digital forms and recruiting documents Support general office and administrative tasks as needed Assist with light office upkeep, including laundry Help with occasional office errands and other tasks that keep the office running smoothly What We’re Looking For Prior administrative, office, recruiting, or customer service experience is a plus Comfortable making and receiving phone calls throughout the workday Professional, friendly, and confident communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable and dependable with strong attendance Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other computer programs Willing and able to learn new software and systems Able to follow established processes while also taking initiative when needed Reliable transportation to and from work Comfortable assisting with light office cleaning and upkeep when needed Able to handle confidential employee and applicant information professionally You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Enjoy talking with people but also like working independently Don't mind making multiple phone calls throughout the day Like staying busy and keeping things organized Are comfortable doing routine tasks consistently and accurately Pay attention to details and follow through on assignments Learn new software and processes quickly Enjoy being part of a small, collaborative office team What You Can Expect Part-time weekday hours — no nights or weekends Approximately 10–15 hours per week (potential to grow into more hours) Supportive, collaborative team environment Clean and comfortable office Training provided on our recruiting systems and processes An opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting, administration, and human resources If you're dependable, organized, comfortable on the phone, and looking for a part-time weekday position where you can stay busy and make a meaningful contribution, we'd love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
