The Pediatric Dentist at Premier Community HealthCare Group (Premier) is a dental specialist who provides comprehensive oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs in a community health center setting. The focus of this role is to deliver preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and therapeutic dental services for our pediatric population, including management of complex pediatric cases, behavior guidance, sedation dentistry, and care of patients with developmental, medical, or behavioral complexities, while supporting adult patient care as needed based on clinic operations and provider privileges.

Provide dental care to children, adolescents, and family medicine patients in accordance with best practices Perform comprehensive oral examinations, including diagnosis and interpretation of radiographs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a child-friendly, trauma-informed approach Deliver clinical dental services including restorative care, extractions, sealants, fluoride treatments, nitrous oxide administration, and preventive care Educate children and caregivers on oral hygiene, preventive care, nutrition, and treatment options Create a positive, supportive experience for pediatric patients and their families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Follow all dental clinic policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and care team members to support efficient patient flow Support community outreach, school-based programs, and pediatric oral health initiatives Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance Uphold Premier's core values and commitment to quality, compassionate care Participate in Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA) activities Perform other duties as assigned

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental program Florida Licensed Dental Practitioner American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Board certification (ABPD) preferred Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License strongly preferred or ability to obtain Prefer three (3) years of dental experience Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program required. Candidates in the final stage of training may be considered. Pediatric Dentistry certificate required within 60 days of hire or when issued by the training program as applicable Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Obtain and maintain Epic certification/ annual compliance throughout employment

Ability to lift 20 lbs. regularly and 3050 lbs. occasionally Ability to sit for extended periods Direct exposure to computer screens and clinical environments Possible exposure to contagious or infectious diseases

Background Screening Requirement: This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
