Wealth Management Associate — DSG Capital Advisors | Edina, MN

DSG Capital Advisors is a boutique RIA based in Edina, Minnesota, providing family office services to high-net-worth clients. We manage approximately $655M in assets and operate with a small, experienced team where every person's work is visible and meaningful. We're looking for a Wealth Management Associate to join us — someone who can work directly with clients and support our Relationship Managers across a wide range of wealth management functions.

This is a full-time, in-person role based out of our Edina, MN office.

What You'll Do

• Build and run comprehensive financial plans in eMoney, including balance sheets, cash flows, and tax considerations — with the ability to make recommendations on Social Security, retirement distributions, and Roth conversions
• Manage all aspects of private investments: client communications, subscription documents, capital calls, distributions, performance reporting, and fund communications
• Run asset allocation and risk metrics for client portfolios using planning software and communicate findings directly to clients
• Prepare and monitor client performance reporting in performance reporting software
• Assist Relationship Managers with client tax compliance and organization
• Review client life insurance policies annually, communicate findings to clients, and coordinate premium payments

• Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasker who can prioritize competing workflows without dropping the ball
• Self-starter who can create and establish processes and policies for their areas of responsibility — not someone who needs to be told what to do twice

Experience & Credentials

• 2–5 years of experience running financial plans for clients
• Working knowledge of income tax and estate tax laws, rules, and regulations
• CFP designation or a commitment to obtaining it within 2 years
• Background in tax or legal work is a plus
