Description - What You Will Be Engaged In

• Carry out standard and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols diligently.
• Ensure the integrity of results through meticulous analysis, error troubleshooting, and conducting preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, train new staff or students, and actively contribute to upholding quality standards within the lab.
• Uphold a clean and secure workspace, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
