Competitive hourly pay combined with weekly direct deposit Full-time, ongoing coverage with flexible 10-14 day/month assignments Work with an experienced, dedicated team in a well-established NICU environment Quick Facts Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855 Start Date: 08/05/2026 (orientation), ongoing thereafter End Date/Duration: Ongoing, with 10-14 days/month commitment Shift: 6am–6pm in facility, 6pm–6am on-call, 24 hours a day Hours/Week: Full-time schedule, 10-14 days/month Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatology, NRP certification, active state license Experience: Preferred experience in Level III NICU settings, extensive neonatal procedures Pay & Benefits Hourly pay rate: $1.00/hr (Details discussed upon application) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Supportive, 24/7 dedicated team to ensure your success What You’ll Do Provide advanced neonatal care for critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertion, paracentesis, spinal taps, and exchange transfusions Manage ventilator support, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) Stabilize patients for transfer or ongoing treatment Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RN staff, respiratory therapists, and consulting specialists Maintain adherence to clinical protocols and ensure patient safety and quality care What You Need Required: Active license as a Nurse Practitioner, with Neonatology certification or eligibility Certification in NRP Experience with neonatal procedures (intubation, chest tubes, central lines, etc.) Ability to work 24-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities Preferred: Prior experience in a Level III NICU setting Strong clinical skills in neonatal emergencies and advanced procedures About the Assignment This assignment offers an exciting opportunity to work in a well-respected NICU environment that has served the community since the 1970s.
