Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck/Order Picker to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center, located at Dayton, NJ.

The ideal candidate will operate heavy equipment, including orderpickers and pallet jacks, efficiently to load and unload materials and ensure safe and accurate order fulfillment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols as outlined by OSHA standards.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Monday - Friday 8:30am -5:00pm
• Flexible for over time On weekend!

Pay Rate: $18 HR

If you know how to drive a turret, we pay $19 HR.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Utilize pallet jacks and order pickers for efficient order picking and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and assist in stock organization.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety practices at all times.
• Knowledge of how to drive a Reach Truck Operator

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Must have Forklift certification.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and Cherry picker.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, particularly OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
