Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Akron, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. Monday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Thursday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sunday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and responding personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
