Corrections Medical Assistant - Night Shift

8-week assignment in or near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Provides direct medical care to incarcerated individuals while maintaining strict security protocols. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits support a rewarding, high-impact role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct medical care to incarcerated individuals in accordance with facility protocols and policies.
Collaborate with nursing and correctional staff to monitor inmate health status and report significant findings.
Execute medical procedures and treatments under supervision to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately in electronic medical records.
Maintain security and safety protocols, including strict adherence to no-phone policies and screening procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric or corrections experience.
Ability to comply with strict security policies, including no-phone policy and screening procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a secure, controlled environment.
