Accounting Manager

About the Opportunity:
\nWe are partnering with a growing pharmaceutical company seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to support and lead core accounting operations. This individual will play a critical role in managing the close process, maintaining accurate financial reporting, and driving process improvements within a scalable ERP environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, experience in a manufacturing setting, and a proactive mindset to enhance systems and workflows. \n Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000
\n Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
\n
\n Responsibilities:
\n• Oversee the full cycle close process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring timely and accurate completion
\n• Compile and review financial statements in alignment with U.S. GAAP standards
\n• Manage general ledger activity, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
\n• Supervise daily accounting operations across payables, receivables, and payroll functions
\n• Support inventory-related accounting activities, including cost of goods sold, reserves, and bill of materials within a manufacturing setting
\n• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting processes and workflows within the ERP system
\n• Coordinate with external auditors by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and supporting audit requirements
\n• Uphold internal controls and ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures
\n• Partner with finance and operational leaders to provide reporting insights and support business decision-making
\n
\n Qualifications:
\n• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance along with 4+ years of relevant experience
\n• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience owning or heavily contributing to the close process
\n• Background in manufacturing or environments involving inventory accounting
\n• CPA certification (or progress toward certification) is a plus
\n• Prior experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) preferred
\n• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
\n• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving processes
