Regional Account Manager, US HPP, Washington DC

Regional Account Manager position focused on representing Alexion's hereditary pyrophosphate phosphodiesterase deficiency (HPP) products across Virginia and Maryland territories. Responsibilities include territory sales management, customer relationship development, product education, and implementation of disease awareness and patient-centric partnership programs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed assigned territory sales objectives for Alexion HPP products
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with corporate strategy and market dynamics
- Educate healthcare providers on diagnostic approaches and appropriate patient testing protocols
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams including medical science liaisons, market access, and diagnostics partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science, business, or marketing
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Consistent top-tier sales performance (top 20% track record)
- Demonstrated strategic territory management and account development success
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel 50-60% within territory including overnight stays
Compensation: $152,636 - $228,954 base annual salary, plus short-term incentive bonuses, equity awards, and sales commissions
