JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing parts, PO’s and other materials to internal and external customers while maintaining 100% accurate inventoryLoads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.Verifies material received to determine physical variances in order; inspects articles and rejects defective onesMove freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipmentSort cargo before loading and unloadingStack cargo in locations such as transit sheds or in holds of ships as directed, using pallets or cargo boardsAttach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying informationInstall protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transportedRead work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needsAttach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loadsUpdate inventory locations in ERP systemOther duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager/Coordinator.Picks-up product by monitoring production; loading and moving productStores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location databasePrepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problemsVerifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports, adjusting entriesDocuments actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records;
