A contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a specialized inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Madison, WI. This 13-week assignment offers Monday through Friday day shifts, providing a structured schedule to maintain work-life balance.

This facility is a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to patients with stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring rehabilitative care. The pharmacist role plays a critical part in ensuring safe and effective medication management within this focused patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and review medications for patients in acute rehabilitation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care plans
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell technology systems for medication management and documentation
• Support compliance with pharmacy standards and hospital policies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Wisconsin required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care or long-term acute care settings
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records and Omnicell automated dispensing systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Local candidates preferred for quick onboarding

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday daytime shifts
