A licensed Pharmacist position is available at an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Madison, WI. The facility specializes in rehabilitative care for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. This role requires a candidate with experience in acute or LTAC pharmacy settings and familiarity with EPIC and OMNICELL systems.

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Type: Contract (13 weeks minimum)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately to inpatients requiring specialized rehabilitative care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective medication management tailored to patient needs.
• Utilize EPIC and OMNICELL for medication orders and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with state pharmacy regulations and facility protocols.
• Monitor patients for drug interactions and adverse effects, adjusting therapy as necessary.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Wisconsin is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care or LTAC pharmacy practice.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and OMNICELL automation systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
