About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the strategic and operational financial activities of the organization. The CFO will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for the development and execution of financial strategies that support the company's mission and goals. This includes driving technological innovation, ensuring strong financial functions, and leading a data-driven budgeting and forecasting process. The successful candidate will be a seasoned financial executive with a proven track record in complex organizations, capable of optimizing the financial position and engaging effectively across the enterprise. The role also involves overseeing a large budget, financial and operational internal controls, and compliance with the highest standards of integrity and transparency. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' senior management experience in finance and accounting is required, with a background that includes public accounting and experience in nonprofit, government contracting, and ERISA. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a business-driven leader, and a strong people manager, capable of attracting and developing top talent. They must be adept at building relationships, influencing decision-making, and executing for results. The CFO will also be responsible for the optimization and integration of financial systems and processes, and must stay informed on relevant accounting and financial regulations to ensure compliance.
