Job Title: Sales Support Representative Job Description

The Sales Support Representative serves as the primary operational partner for assigned sales regions. This role supports sales representatives by managing orders, resolving issues, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a high level of customer service while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

• Process and support customer orders with accuracy and urgency.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for sales representatives and customers.
• Research and resolve order, pricing, delivery, and account-related issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Contracts, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, and Technical Support.
• Maintain accurate system records and follow established policies and procedures.
• Provide proactive communication and follow-up until requests are resolved.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

• Sales support and customer service experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent sales partnership and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with measurable metrics.
• Learning-oriented, adaptable, and possessing a team mindset.
• Proficiency in data entry, sales, SAP, and Salesforce.com.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, account management, operations, or a related field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience working in multiple systems and directly with sales representatives is a plus.
• Order management experience with systems such as JDE, SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Suite.
• Prior success in a high-volume transactional environment is beneficial.
• Forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule with the flexibility to start between 8 AM and 9 AM ET. Candidates should expect to work onsite from Monday to Wednesday, with a remote option on Thursday and Friday. The first six weeks of training are fully onsite. There is potential for extended hours on the final business day of the month, supporting late incoming orders. The role entails independent work with collaboration for coverage and meetings, working within a sales team of about 18 people, part of a larger team of around 45. The position involves internal team collaboration rather than customer-facing interactions.

This is a Contract position based out of Portage, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Portage,MI.
