Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:45 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:45 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:45 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols. Maintain professional communication with site personnel and the Allied Universal team while completing required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. A Guard Card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
