Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:45 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:45 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests in accordance with site procedures. Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
