Aerial Construction Supervisor (Wireline)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aerial Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee our aerial lineman crews. Position Overview: As an Aerial Construction Supervisor , you will be responsible for managing daily aerial construction operations across multiple project sites. You will oversee crews installing and maintaining overhead fiber optic and coaxial networks, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all project specifications. This position focuses exclusively on wireline aerial construction — no wireless construction duties are involved. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage aerial lineman crews performing fiber and coax installations and maintenance. Schedule, coordinate, and supervise daily work activities across multiple job sites. Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and quality expectations. Review construction prints, work orders, and site plans to guide field operations. Perform site walks to monitor progress, inspect workmanship, and resolve field issues. Conduct safety meetings and job hazard analyses (JHA) before work begins each day. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to meet project timelines. Order necessary materials, tools, and equipment for ongoing projects. Train and mentor linemen and field technicians on best practices and safety procedures. Maintain accurate daily reports, production tracking, and documentation. Assist in incident investigations and corrective actions when needed. Travel to various sites as required. Required Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aerial broadband construction (fiber/coax). Previous supervisory or crew lead experience in telecom or broadband construction. Strong knowledge of aerial construction standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret construction prints, schematics, and job orders. Proficiency in using aerial lifts, lashers, gaffs, and other line construction equipment. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing. Physical ability to lift 75 lbs., climb, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) standards. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred, not required). Knowledge of basic fiber optic splicing practices (a plus).
