A hospital-based pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist with inpatient experience in Santa Cruz, CA. This position offers a structured 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule primarily covering 2nd shifts, with occasional weekend coverage. The role is on a 13-week contract, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and coordinating workflow
• Consulting and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilizing Cerner pharmacy IT systems to manage orders and documentation

Ideal candidates will bring:

• A valid California Pharmacist license
• At least 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability to work the specified shifts
• Ability to work effectively within budget constraints

Schedule:

• 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
• Shift times primarily 12:30 pm–9:00 pm and 2:30 pm–11:00 pm
• Some weekend shifts required
