Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate counterparty risks and asset performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Provide strategic recommendations on credit limits, tenors, and risk ratings to support informed decision-making. Monitor portfolio credit quality, identify early signs of risk, and participate in watchlist reviews. Contribute to the development of credit policy guidelines and global risk appetite frameworks. Engage in new business assessments, including white papers and product committees, to align with organizational objectives. Promote innovation and creativity in credit risk management practices while adhering to tight deadlines. Support reporting efforts for management and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and compliance. Validate financial metrics, including Obligor Risk Ratings and Basel II parameters, to ensure accurate risk evaluation. Participate in portfolio reviews and early detection processes to mitigate credit risks effectively. Track market and credit trends across asset classes, providing insights for strategic planning. Assist in preparing comprehensive reports for risk management and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with teams to establish credit policies and exposure limits tailored to client categories. Contribute to the assessment of new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with risk appetite. Promote effective communication and collaboration across risk divisions and business lines. Director – Senior Credit Officer Real Estate/Real Assets Job Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in credit risk roles within U.S. commercial real estate and CMBS markets. Strong analytical skills with expertise in assessing complex transactions and processes. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure. Knowledge of U.S. market regulatory practices and broad understanding of real estate risks. Demonstrated collaboration skills across risk divisions and business lines. Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
