Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol in Purchase NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control activities and emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production warehouse loading parking and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance fire and/or other operational concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor information and support vehicle and delivery traffic management in accordance with location policies.
- Assist with enforcing location rules related to restricted areas employee and visitor movement and after-hours access while maintaining professionalism in a food and beverage environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
