Role Description

The Commercial Roofing Division Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Missoula, MT, responsible for overseeing all operations of the commercial roofing division. This position manages project planning and scheduling, coordinates in-house crews and multi-trade subcontractors, and ensures that commercial roofing projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Division Manager works directly with clients to provide quick and accurate inspections, negotiate contracts, address project issues, and maintain strong relationships. 

Expectation for this role is a 50% in Field, 50% in Office Role - Managing day to day expectations with our install crew, as well as upcoming projects, pre job walks with our foreman, or GCs, bids, submittals, and follow up with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise field operations and monitor quality and safety standards.
• Update client files with job progress reports, photos, documentation and all other daily pertinent information.
• Review job costs and profitability to ensure financial success. Keeping crews on track for labor goals and job timelines. 
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic growth and process improvements. Including new product launches, obtaining manufacturer certifications and delivering training to in field crews
• Coach and develop team members, implementing best practices. Including employee 1-on-1s, goal setting, and follow ups with subordinates.
• Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience Installing and leading commercial roofing is mandatory for this role, including planning, scheduling, and crew supervision.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, installation methods, and relevant building codes and safety standards. - Including TPO, PVC, EPDM - understanding shingle and metal roofing is a benefit, but not mandatory
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs, timelines, and budgets concurrently.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications, preparing estimates, and using construction/project management software (experience with Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and Acculynx preferred).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop teams, including performance management and coaching.
• Commitment to workplace safety, risk management, and compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on active job sites including schools, and government jobs is required (Clean Background)
• Previous supervisory experience in roofing, construction management, or a related field (industry certifications are a plus).

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or relevant education in construction management is beneficial.
