CNC Lathe Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Title CNC Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift (Valencia, CA) Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components to specification. Load raw materials and unload finished parts while maintaining workflow efficiency. Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain quality standards. Perform routine equipment checks to ensure proper alignment and setup before production. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify tolerances and specifications. Troubleshoot basic machine or process issues to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of CNC lathe experience. Familiarity with machining tools, equipment, and measurement instruments. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Effective communication skills across teams. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment. Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet production needs. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Shift & Compensation Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM. Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). A $1.50 per hour shift differential is applied after training completion.
