Pay Rate: $69.00/hour on W-2
Position Summary
SMBC is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to manage and support the resolution of data-quality issues. The selected candidate will coordinate issue investigation, remediation, root-cause analysis, documentation, and resolution tracking while partnering with data owners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Identify, assess, and categorize data-quality issues.
Coordinate with data owners and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve data issues.
Support remediation activities and root-cause-analysis processes.
Maintain accurate issue logs, resolution status, metrics, and supporting documentation.
Track trends in data-quality issues and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
Help strengthen data-governance and data-quality processes.
Required Skills
Experience supporting data governance, data quality, data controls, or related initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Working knowledge of databases, data analysis, and data validation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to document issues, remediation plans, and resolution outcomes clearly.
Ability to work effectively with data owners and cross-functional teams.
