Job Description
Help develop and implement evidence-based, goal-oriented treatment plans for a wide range of orthopedic and hand conditions. Train patients in joint protection, activity modification, ergonomics, and home exercise programs to promote independence and prevent re-injury. Evaluate patients to obtain information related to their functional limitations and activity restrictions. Provide patient and family education on the injury and disease process. Assist with developing and overseeing standard operating procedures for the occupational therapy clinic. Collaborate with referring surgeons, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
