Corporate Security Officer

Job Title Corporate Security Officer Wage Range: $17.00-17.50 / hour Overview We help make your world a safer place. See a different world. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Responsibilities Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Patrol and monitor premises; respond to incidents and alarms as required. Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Enforce regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Qualifications & Requirements CPR, First Aid/AED, BLS preferred; provided if not. Prior security experience preferred, not required. Must pass drug screen and background check; must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards where applicable. No experience necessary; training provided if transitioning from other sectors (e.g., retail, food service, hospitality). Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain. Physical requirements: lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
