Operations Manager 

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 / year 

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (No regular weekends!)

Location: Manufacturing Facility – KS

Reports To: Plant Manager | Direct Reports: Production Supervisors, Production Planner

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Mentor: Coach supervisors and planners to build an accountable, positive team culture.

• Drive Strategic Operations: Oversee daily plant operations, scheduling, inventory, and workflows.

• Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to trim waste and boost quality.

• Budget Management: Manage departmental budgets, analyze operational data, and optimize resources.

• Quality & Safety: Maintain safety protocols and strict quality standards across all shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing, operations, or distribution management with leadership experience.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred.

• Skills: Continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), KPI tracking, ERP systems, and  cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Mentor: Directly coach supervisors and planners, establishing clear growth pathways, performance metrics, and an accountable, positive workplace culture.

• Drive Strategic Operations: Oversee daily plant operations, scheduling alignment, inventory control, and workflow optimization to ensure on-time customer delivery.

• Implement Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI frameworks to eliminate waste, improve quality, and drive cost efficiencies.

• Budget & Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets, analyze operational data, and optimize labor and equipment utilization.

• Champion Quality & Safety: Maintain compliance, champion safety protocols, and ensure top-tier quality standards across every shift.
