Accounting Clerk

Summary Morgan & Morgan is looking for an Accounting Clerk for our Downtown Nashville office who will report directly to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with senior-level Attorneys. This individual will not only ensure that the case side of accounting is run with efficiency and accuracy but will also offer effective and responsive support to our internal legal team.

Responsibilities Daily Funds Deposits Expense Authorization for Cost Disbursements Facilitate disbursements of funds according to Client Closing Statement Verifying the Finalization of all Case Transactions before Month End Close (30-day Calendar Close) Point of Contact for Case related questions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred but not required Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal Critical Thinker Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced office environment Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and possess the ability to multitask Progressive Work Experience preferred Team player Benefits For full-time employees, we offer an excellent benefits package including medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off and paid holidays.
