California Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist

To support the revenue cycle management for gastroenterology services, the full-time California Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage billing and collections, submit accurate claims, and resolve outstanding balances while working remotely from approved states. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with clinical departments and external clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring account resolution Research and resolve denied or underpaid claims, preparing and submitting timely appeals with necessary documentation Analyze coding deficiencies and coordinate reviews to enhance charge capture and minimize audit liability Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; college courses in finance, business, or health insurance preferred Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or hospital revenue cycle billing experience required, with a preference for professional billing experience Experience in gastroenterology is preferred Ability to review and interpret medical documentation to support accurate billing and appeals Provide volume of cases worked as part of the application process
