Tracks and evaluates daily department tasks. Supervises and monitors goal achievement for direct reports. Manages and assigns tasks to direct reports. Interfaces with various internal departments. Drives continuous improvement initiatives or other projects as assigned. - Management of the AP team - delegate AP workload to the team and review work as needed- Management of vendor payments via ACH, wire, and/or checks- Daily review of AP voucher distributions to ensure coding accuracy - Review team members monthly vendor reconciliations- Enforcement of proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures; providing recommendations for improvement - Approve and process weekly employee expenses via expense management system (Emburse)- Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and produce key metrics - Compiles AP information to assist with financial analysis - Active participation in various company meetings serving as representation for the Accounts Payable department - Preparation and delivery of year-end 1099 forms - Interaction with other sub-units and supervisors within the company to resolve internal process issues related to Accounts Payable - Assist with various tasks associated with company audits- Performs other related duties as assigned by management - - Ability to multi-task effectively while upholding deadlines set forth - College degree in Accounting or a related field - 4-6 years of accounting experience or related field required - 2 years of supervisory experience - Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills - High attention to detail and accuracy - Good written and verbal communication skills - Effective time management skills Salary Range: $71,434 - $104,194Please note that the salary information is a general guideline.
