We are seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney with substantial debtor experience, preferably in Chapter 11 (and Subchapter V) proceedings. We are offering a compensation package that includes salary and fee sharing after a probationary period, a medical stipend, and 401(k) benefits. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities: Primarily represent debtors in Chapter 11 cases. Advise clients on bankruptcy and restructuring strategies, debtor rights, and financial workouts. Develop and implement innovative solutions for complex bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Stay current with developments in bankruptcy law and industry trends to provide clients with informed advice. Collaborate with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders to negotiate and implement restructuring plans. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to bankruptcy and financial restructuring. Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff, fostering professional growth and development. Potential to lead and manage the firm’s bankruptcy practice and provide strategic direction and oversight of all aspects of bankruptcy cases. Participate with firm leadership and contribute to the firm's strategic direction and growth. Required Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership. Minimum of 9 years of bankruptcy law experience, focusing on representing business debtors, and a proven track record in handling complex bankruptcy cases. Proficiency in CM/ECF electronic filing systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong legal research and analytical abilities. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Experience in bankruptcy litigation Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual proficiency is a plus (but not required). Proficiency with Clio law practice management and Best Case bankruptcy software.
