Job Summary Assist Ophthalmologist/Optometrist in screening, diagnosing and treating patients with eye disorders. Degrees Minimum Qualifications Diploma / GED Associates of Science in Ophthalmology (Preferred) Licenses & Certifications Certified Ophthalmic Assistant: Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology Basic Life Support: from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program Work Experience Two (2) Years Work Experience: Ophthalmology/Optometry setting Communication Skills Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact) Language Bilingual Skills: Spanish (Preferred) Job Attributes Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Analytical Research Work Schedule Flexible Other Special Requirements Equipment Operated: Proficiency with diagnostic ophthalmology equipment including fundus camera, keratometer, A/B scan, IOL calculations, tonometry, visual fields, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
