Laboratory Technician

Research Assistant

As a Research Assistant, you will perform daily clinic and administrative tasks to support coordinators in conducting study procedures. This includes administering Electronic Self-Assessment Questionnaires, managing the check-in process, assisting with informed consent signing, and providing support in various study-related tasks. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and adherence to Good Clinical Practice guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist coordinators with daily clinic tasks such as ESAQ administrations and instrumentation support.
• Perform administrative tasks including test material preparation, appointment reminders, and quality checking study documents.
• Develop study paperwork in collaboration with coordinators.
• Report to the clinic on time for all assigned studies.
• Follow Good Clinical Practice guidelines, applicable regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service to clients and panelists, maintaining positive interactions with peers and leadership.
• Comply with safety and Operational Integrity procedures.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and phones. The current schedule varies from Monday to Friday between 6 am and 7 pm. During sequester studies starting at the end of September/October, shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours, beginning at 6 or 7 am. If working a 12-hour study, the following day will be shorter. The role is situated within a cosmetics research office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
