DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS

Extol Haven Homecare LLC in Mayfield Heights, OH is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and personal assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or other support needs

Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility

Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately

Encourage client independence, dignity, and community inclusion

Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed

Transport clients to appointments, activities, and community outings

Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and compassionate demeanor

Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
