Corporate Controller

Controller (PE-Backed Healthcare Services) Our client is a mission-driven, private equity-backed healthcare services company with over $100 million in revenue and a track record of sustained, meaningful growth. Headquartered in the Deerfield Beach / Boca Raton area, the organization operates across many states and is committed to expanding its reach and clinical footprint. As part of that continued growth, they are seeking a Controller to serve as a key financial leader within the business. This is a hands‑on leadership role that goes well beyond traditional controllership. The Controller will lead a lean finance team, own the monthly close, drive financial and operational reporting, and serve as a key driver of the company's business intelligence and analytics capabilities. This person will work cross‑functionally with operational leaders to translate financial data into actionable insight and will partner closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. The right candidate will participate directly in the value creation of a growing, PE‑backed platform with real upside at exit. Total compensation includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus, and equity participation — alongside a full relocation package for candidates outside the area. This leader will manage a team of five — two financial analysts and three payroll staff — while directly contributing to financial analysis, reporting, and BI development. The role sits at the intersection of traditional accounting and data‑driven operations, making it a rare opportunity for a finance leader who is equally comfortable closing the books and building dashboards.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE

8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including direct ownership of financial reporting and accounting operations Proven experience leading a monthly close process within a lean team environment, with hands‑on involvement in reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis Experience with business intelligence or financial analytics platforms — Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar — with the ability to own dashboard development and dataset governance Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team while remaining a working contributor when complexity or workload demands it Strong cross‑functional communication skills with the ability to partner with operational leaders and present financial results clearly to executive leadership Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred Prior experience in a private equity‑backed or high‑growth environment strongly preferred; healthcare services experience a plus Open to relocation to the Deerfield Beach / Boca Raton, FL area — a full relocation package will be provided #J-18808-Ljbffr Kensington International Executive Search
