The Energy Operations Analyst will provide operational and analytical support to Environ Energy's energy procurement clients and the internal teams that support the energy procurement business. In this role, you will coordinate with utilities and suppliers to verify contract terms and rates, manage the full lifecycle of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in support of the sales team, and analyze utility invoices, supplier invoices, and contracts to extract the data required for procurement analysis and sales support. You will also deliver responsive, high-volume customer service, build and maintain internal and client-facing reporting tools, and manage the end-to-end contract assumption process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to verify contract terms, rates, and related information.
• Provide responsive, high-volume customer service regarding contracts, billing, and utility-related inquiries via email, phone, and internal team requests.
• Build and maintain internal and client-facing reporting tools while following established processes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), from initiation through post-award follow-up, in support of the sales team.
• Analyze utility invoices, supplier invoices, and contracts (when available) to extract key data required for procurement analysis, RFP preparation, and sales support.
• Accurately review and extract information from large volumes of documentation, including hundreds of pages of invoices, where manual review is often/primarily required.
• Facilitate and manage the end-to-end contract assumption process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as a proactive self-starter.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with CRM systems (preferred but not required).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, analyze complex information, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities by proactively identifying issues, communicating effectively, and following tasks through to completion.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy, organization, and accountability while managing a high-volume workload and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to quickly adjust priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs throughout the day.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with the sales and operations team members.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience in operations, the energy industry, the multifamily industry, or a similar field is required.
• 2+ years of non-ERCOT retail energy experience is strongly preferred.
