The CFO will be responsible for managing the company’s overall financial health while partnering closely with ownership and operations leadership to support profitability, growth, and long-term business planning. Contact us at to learn more!HoursFull-time, 8:00am-5:00pmLocationHonolulu, OahuKailua-Kona, Big IslandPay$120,000 to $135,000 a year, pay rate may be higher depending on experienceResponsibilitiesOversee all financial and accounting functions across four locations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, billing, and cash management.Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and long-term financial plans.Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Monitor company profitability, job costing, margins, labor costs, overhead, and other key financial metrics.Lead and develop accounting/administrative staff and establish clear financial processes across all locations.Provide financial guidance for business expansion, equipment purchases, capital investments, and other strategic initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and overall operational efficiency.Support ownership with special projects, business planning, and other financial initiatives as needed.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, coordinate audits and work with outside CPAs, and oversee insurance payments and claims.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with previous experience in a senior financial leadership role.Experience managing accounting and financial operations for a small to mid-sized company preferred.Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and financial analysis.Experience with job costing, construction, landscaping, contracting, or another service-based industry strongly preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Knowledge of Hammertech and Sage100C software.Valid driver's license.
