Plastic Injector, 2nd Shift

Plastic Injector

Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Plastic Injector position is accountable for:

• Operating a plastic injection machine to produce a variety of parts
• Ensuring quality of the pieces produced
• Meeting department production needs
• Showing the supervisor first piece on each setup
• Managing parameters (cycle, temperature, pressure, weigh feeder) set in these machines
• Notifying Leader or Manufacturing Manager if set up or operation of machine is mechanically difficult or other problems exist
• Visually inspecting parts for various defects

Organization Location: 3960 S Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114

Shift: All shifts are Monday Friday

• 2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Salary: $17/hr.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Minimum of 1-year experience operating plastic injection machine
• General Manufacturing Experience
• Ability to effectively work and communicate as part of a cell team

While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE (personal protection equipment). Following all basic safety precautions will reduce risk of potential injury. This position requires anywhere from light to moderate physical activity, such as walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time, as well as some lifting.
