Senior Platform Engineer

Equity: Competitive Equity Package Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineer to help scale and optimize the infrastructure powering our AI personalization platform. This is an opportunity to take ownership of core platform systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, and backend services in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment. You will work closely with the CTO and engineering leadership to build reliable, secure, and highly scalable systems while contributing directly to backend product development. What You'll Do Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure. Own Kubernetes-based container orchestration and platform reliability. Develop and maintain production backend services using Python and/or Node.js. Build and optimize auto-scaling, high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems. Scale and manage multi-tenant database infrastructure including PostgreSQL and Redis. Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions using tools such as Datadog and Prometheus. Improve platform performance, reliability, and security across the stack. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and safe deployments. Participate in incident response, production troubleshooting, and operational excellence initiatives. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support rapid feature delivery while maintaining platform stability. Requirement Experience 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Backend Infrastructure roles. Experience writing production-grade backend software in Python and/or Node.js. Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production environments. Experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure. Proven track record building high-throughput, low-latency, auto-scaling systems. Experience scaling multi-tenant architectures and databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis. Startup or high-growth company experience, ideally from organizations with fewer than 200 employees. Experience with production on-call rotations, incident management, and infrastructure reliability. Exposure to AI/LLM infrastructure, model-serving platforms, or Generative AI systems is highly preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
