Primary Care Provider

Responsibilities Provide excellent Primary Care, with an additional focus in one or more of the following: Women’s health, Mental health support (including prescribing), Cardiology and Pulmonary interests, Physical medicine, Chinese medicine and Acupuncture. Support patients by focusing on their needs, coordinating care inside and outside our practice, and proactively going above the minimum necessary. Keep up with paperwork by signing charts and reviewing documents in a timely and efficient manner. Be confident in own skills, but comfortable consulting with others on difficult or complex cases. Employ Western medicine standards of care alongside naturopathic treatment options. Acknowledge the importance of a trauma-informed approach to patient care. Communicate clearly, confidently and competently to patients and other healthcare providers and be willing to refer to specialists where appropriate. Have fun while doing good. Qualifications Carry a current, unrestricted license to practice naturopathic medicine in the State of Oregon and a current DEA license. Practiced clinically for at least 1 year post-graduation, ideally. Proficiency with one or more Electronic Health Record systems (ideally Athena). Maintain credentials with a majority of insurance carriers in Oregon, in particular: OHP, BCBS, Providence, Aetna, Moda, Pacific Source. Carry current malpractice insurance.
