Your Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, working collaboratively with physicians or independently depending on your qualifications
• Educating patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as per your scope of practice

• Accurately documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Requirements:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a suitable specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
