Randstad is seeking a Spanish bilingual Contract Manager for our global energy client, working remotely in the United States..

Role Details

• Location: Remote (US-based candidates only)
• Pay Rate: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
• Duration: 1-year contract (with potential for extension or permanent hire)

About the Role As a Contract Manager, you will serve as the commercial expert leading contract management for large-scale, international power generation projects. You will focus on driving commercial strategy, preventing risk, and managing claims across US and Latin American markets.

Qualifications

• bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in contract administration, claims management, and contract writing/interpretation.
• Project Management: Minimum of 5 years in project management or an equivalent commercial capacity.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to domestic and international project sites (including Latin America) as required.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or Business Law.
• Experience in the power generation, energy, developer, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) sectors.
• strong background in construction claims negotiation and prime contract management.
• Advanced presentation and negotiation skills in cross-functional, remote team environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Contract Strategy: Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies, evaluate project terms, and resolve complex commercial issues and claims for energy generation projects.
• Manage Change Orders & Claims: Draft, negotiate, and drive execution of contract change orders, supplier recoveries, and insurance claims.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside Project Managers, Sourcing, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission of contractual notices and project deliverables.
• Maintain Critical Records: Contemporaneously manage accurate documentation, electronic contract files, and tracking systems for claims, back-charges, and delays.
• Engage Stakeholders: Travel to customer and project sites across North and Latin America to conduct analysis and deliver high-impact claim mitigation presentations.
