Apparel Graphic Designer

SPRT Brand is a Dallas-based cut-and-sew business specializing in custom apparel and wearables, operating as a stand-alone division of a larger St. Louis-based company. Currently focused on wholesale distribution to business customers and the promotional products industry, we also hold university licenses and are rapidly expanding our manufacturing operations. We operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where quality, accuracy, and quick execution are critical to meeting event-driven promotional market demands. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Apparel Graphic Designer with hands-on expertise in sublimation artwork and production file preparation to join our growing Dallas team. In this role, you will bridge creative graphic design with technical print production. You will create dynamic artwork for custom sports wearables and apparel, format print-ready sublimation production files, and collaborate closely with our operations team to deliver high-quality custom garments on tight, event-based schedules. Key Responsibilities Sublimation & Art Production: Design, set up, and format accurate, print-ready digital files specifically for dye-sublimation manufacturing and apparel printing. Apparel Graphic Design: Create high-impact graphic designs for team sports, activewear, promotional wearables, and corporate apparel. Technical Layout & Pattern Prep: Work with garment flat templates and pattern layouts, ensuring designs scale accurately across various garment sizes and construction styles. Event-Driven Execution: Manage multiple art files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting quick-turnaround deadlines for promotional and event-based orders. Quality Assurance: Review and double-check print files, color profiles, vector line-art, and artwork dimensions to ensure zero production errors. Cross-Team Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email with internal production teams and leadership to ensure order accuracy and timeline execution. Qualifications & Key Competencies Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Sublimation Experience: Direct experience working with sublimation artwork within a sublimation print shop or custom apparel production facility. Production File Knowledge: Deep understanding of preparing vector artwork, bleeds, color management, and production-ready print files. Garment Construction Knowledge: Preferred background in apparel design, cut-and-sew manufacturing, or garment construction. Strong Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating design expertise, with clear examples of sports wearables and custom promotional apparel. Detail-Oriented: Extremely detail-oriented with high standards for precision and artwork accuracy. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced startup / entrepreneurial business environment. Thrives Under Pressure: Calm, organized, and effective under tight time pressure and stressful deadlines associated with event-driven orders. Communication & Teamwork: Great team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone and email). Initial Contract Period: 30 to 40 hours per week for the first 60 days. Full-Time Opportunity: Intended transition to full-time employment after the initial 60-day period based on performance and workflow fit. Location: Dallas Metro Area preferred.
